We are partnered with a leading hypergrowth start-up, set to become US’s next Unicorn. This SaaS Retail Media Platform is helping Tier 1 brands to reach their revenue targets, supplying various Media tools on an integrated platform. Their main solutions support Retailers and integrate with global marketplaces, helping understand and reach more customers, and maximising their ROAS growth. Awarded and placed on a list of the quickest growing start-ups by the Forbes and Financial Times.
This position is responsible for the achievement of revenue and growth targets. The candidate will create and maintain an overall sales strategy to deliver on the Company’s growth ambitions. You will drive success across the sales department reaching revenue objectives from Retail Media Netowrk and services and build foundations for future revenues. The Director of Sales will build a team of high-achieving sales talent capable of driving quota attainment and will operate with full transparency across the management team and provide accurate sales forecasts
Responsibilities:
- Meet established KPIs by developing highly effective sales strategies, tactics, and action plans.
- Develop, coach and mentor the team to enable them to excel and grow within their roles.
- Build strong professional relations with key internal/external stakeholders.
- Drive sales revenue by recruiting, onboarding, and managing Systems Integrators, Digital Agencies, and Retail Media consultants.
- Lead a high-impact SMB & Enterprise team to drive deep engagement, extract value and define areas of service delivery.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of successful Sales experience within the Retail Media space (Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot)
- Expertise in DSP, SSP DOOH adtech background preferrably.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with an impressive track record of cultivating new business.
- Previous scale-up experience in a Hypergrowth business is desirable.
- Ability to communicate persuasively and precisely across all levels of management, both internal/external with customers and 3P agencies.
