The Team and the Role
We are subject matter experts in product pricing models and deal structure. Our core goal is to enable the Global Sales Organization with general pricing guidance as well as quoting guidance with both accuracy and completeness. The team holds accountability and trust while building strong relationships with cross-functional teams such as Order Management and Revenue to facilitate deal closures and solidify recurring revenue. You will be successful in the role if you can be a business partner to Sales with advising, structuring, and approving all quote types. The various nuances in working each quote type calls for strong critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail. Your day-to-day

Act as a trusted contact to the Sales team on pricing guidance, quote requirements and general transaction qualifications.

Responsible for gathering and organizing customer’s historical data through several resources for in-depth analysis.

Create/review Renewal, Add-on, and Net New quotes utilizing the SFDC Lightning CPQ tool as well as manual calculations of large data sets in excel, as needed.

Manage sales requests in an efficient and accurate manner to ensure team’s SLAs are met; strong focus during period-end deadlines.

Work directly and collaborate with other teams and business units including but not limited to Order Management, Sales Operations, and Legal.

Effectively discuss a deal structure and pricing with executive-level management for review and approvals.

Actively contribute to the continuing improvement and refinement of Deals Desk operations and processes.

Participate in projects and testing to automate and audit systems, as needed.
What you bring to the team
-
2+ years’ prior experience in Deals Desk, Revenue Operations or Sales Operations

Experience in SaaS solutions or subscription-based model is preferred

Thorough knowledge of the Quote to Booking process is a plus

Salesforce and Excel experience is required

Ability to work with numbers under pressure; analytical in approach

Must be organized and detail-oriented

Demonstrated capability to build strong relationships with internal business units

Confident written and verbal communication skills interacting with C-Level Executives

Sound and practical business judgment, intellectual curiosity, and adeptness at balancing risk and opportunity
