As a Business Operations Analyst you will serve as a key partner to both Finance and Operations teams, providing financial analysis, business insights, and operational support to drive business performance and innovation. This role is responsible for preparing financial reconciliations, supporting inventory and supply chain processes, collaborating on innovation initiatives, and optimizing business operations through cross-functional teamwork.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare monthly financial reconciliations, forecasts, and business performance summaries.
- Participates in the formulation of budgets for departments.
- Conducts analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investment.
- Prepares detail of work plan and schedule, completes detailed analysis and research, identifies options, prepares reports for management and recommends action or changes for assigned projects.
- Coordinates with Supply and Demand teams to monitor inventory and create production Purchase Orders.
- Manage Stock Transfer Orders for Direct to Consumer (DTC) inventory and sample orders.
- Facilitate Sales Order questions with Sales and Distributor Services teams.
- Collaborate with innovation teams (e.g., RTD Scrum) to advance new projects.
- Assists with analysis for new product pricing, sales strategy, and financial forecasts.
- Research competitor and industry trends to support innovation ideation.
- Work with IT teams to test new plant set-ups and provide additional process updates.
- Assist with new distributor and vendor set-up.
- Support ad-hoc projects to optimize business finances/operations (e.g., website FAQs, cost reductions, process improvements).
- Participate in the development of department procedures and performance measures.
- Conducts special financial and business-related studies as requested.
- Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of finance, accounting, audit, economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience with MS Excel at an intermediate level.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You’ll Stand Out
- Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of finance, accounting, audit, economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Master of Business Administration degree.
- Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers and customers.
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Experience performing work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult in character, usually involving limited responsibility, requiring frequent evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
- Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.
