Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Sales Operations and have a wide range of duties in enabling sales performance and success. This role will work closely with Marketing, Revenue Enablement and Sales teams to analyze and measure the success of our campaigns and programs using sales tools. In this role, you will use your Sales and Marketing knowledge, coupled with your Management experience to make data-centric recommendations that drive revenue and team success along with overseeing people and projects leading to revenue growth.

Key Requirements and Responsibilities

Manage and mentor the Sales operations team; plan and evaluate department activities
Work with Marketing and Revenue Enablement to support Go-To-Market Strategies for Operations team
Support Director, Revenue Operations Management in the design, development and deployment of strategic business objectives, project & change management, cross-functional collaboration, sales planning & comp, resource management
Work with Revenue Enablement to develop, execute, optimize and assess enablement plans
Build, foster and maintain a trusted relationship with Global Sales Leadership and Business Development
Monitor, own and report on key metrics within each Sales Operations function
Work closely with Marketing to analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and programs
Tracking and identifying data trends, and providing actionable insights and recommendations that drive revenue through our sales engagement tools
Oversee and support the sales team on creation of RFP and custom proposals
Champion Sales Operations best practices, and ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures are maintained
Gather and use performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps across the Sales team
Active participation in driving and implementing operational projects and initiatives that enable sales success and optimization

Qualifications

We strongly value your talent, energy and passion. It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications,

Minimum 5 years of experience in building and leading Sales or Revenue operations teams.
A proven track record of success in building and managing teams and developing and delivering on strategic business objectives
Experience mentoring or leading a team to support and achieve organizational goals
A strong understanding of the sales environment, including sales content, tools and training
You are a hands-on leader, always willing to lend a helping hand, and are motivated to contribute your expertise to a diverse pool of resources to support business goals
Data-driven personality with outstanding analytical ability and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with situations where information is difficult to obtain, complex or ambiguous
Solid experience in using CRM, sales prospecting tools and enablement software. Experience with Salesforce, Outreach or Loopio would be considered an asset.
