The Sales Operations Specialist position will report to the Head of North America Sales and will play a key role in helping us achieve our sales goals and ensure an exceptional experience for our customers. The Sales Operations Specialists will contribute significantly towards maintaining our reputation for excellent service and superior customer satisfaction. This role performs broad activities in support of North America Sales leadership, North America Sales, Customer Success Managers, Account Directors and Sales Operations. Primary activities include sales reporting and billing, revenue tracking, sales cycle content support, managing sales training, working with onboarding, account management, and customer success, reporting and tracking data related to sales performance.
As Our Sales Support Specialist, You Will - Display excellent communication and customer service skills enabling you to successfully interact with clients as well as internal customers and answer their queries.
- Produce monthly reports for the sales teams (ex: sales team performance, billings, go-live and retention data, SMS volume & gross profit metrics)
- Provide Sales support and/or backup assistance to Sales team members as directed by the Sales Support Manager and Head of North America Sales.
- Keep track of all sales team performance figures and stats
- Work with salesforce
- Keep all manual tracking and reporting spreadsheets up to date
- Scrub salesforce/accuracy checks with reps
- Forecast accuracy tracking for team/reps
- Gross Profit produced/Gross Profit produced ramp tracking and reporting
- Work with the sales opps team, finance and divisions to keep track of all GP produced figures by account
- Minimum commit: Work with Sales, Sales opps and billing on min-commit billing
- Work with the comp team to support all payouts and pay cycles.
- Project manage all sales training initiates and help build sales training content
- Help build content for LT meetings/QBRs—data and performance stats
- Build content & messaging for sales presentations/work with marketing & product marketing-compete
- Help with escalations (keep a summary of all open items by group): tracking, work with the business desk/billing/legal
Who are you?
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in our around sales and technology sales (software or similar)
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales or sales support role
- One year of experience in CRM software, ideally Salesforce.com, and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of sales performance metrics and KPIs
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills
- High energy level and being self-motivated to exceed sales goals
- Ability to collaborate and be an effective team player
- Demonstrate entrepreneurial and creative approach to work
