We are currently looking for a Sales Operations Specialist, EV* at our *Corporate Offices in Ajax, ON
The Sales Operations Specialist, EV is responsible for forecast, production (order management), Sales Performance and digital integration of our EV Portfolio. This role provides coordination and support to Volkswagen Brand Canada, VW Dealers and the NAR Region by ensuring that all activities within the supply chain segments are performed and aligned to support the national and regional sales targets and VW Brand financials. This individual's goal is to continually align production capabilities to the demand of the market while simultaneously continue to develop and enhance our digital EV Journey.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Research and gather product content information for the EV portfolio
- Manage customer Sold Order banks, support marketing in execution of customer communications surrounding delivery ETA and production details, forecasts
- Set-up and maintain systems with supply chain related product information (Forecast Data, dealer ordering tables, Data Warehouse maintenance, etc.)
- Manage factory restrictions in accordance with strategies set by brand management and execute necessary forecast adjustments.
- Perform analysis to determine net production capacity available for allocation of all sales channels
- Consolidate and translate market demand into factory formats and applicable data input in accordance with Volkswagen Group demand capacity management, time line and formats
- Manage orders of special vehicles (press cars, auto show cars, emission, assurance, etc.); exception of order specifications (inaccuracies); factory forecast for heavy item installation rates (Engine, Trans, Sunroof, etc.); and vehicle Carline trim mix management to ensure financial commitments are met
- Prepare and execute weekly production fulfillment while optimizing order scheduling, and support Dealer Allocation and vehicle Launch activities
- Monthly trim mix management executive summary reports; market ordering behavior and production fulfillment to assure continuous alignment of production to market demand; and allocation consumption and coordinate with Markets to ensure fulfillment of allocation
- Communicate to Brand Management on Carline performance and dynamics and flag any potential deviations/risks to the planned production and sales performance/planning
- Input monthly sales and market into Germany FPL, as well as manage monthly MPL input and output after German sales meeting is completed
- Timely production of weekly and monthly reporting
- Act as primary liaison between factory planning groups and Volkswagen Brand Canada; establish and develop relationships with key NAR and Factory partners; and lead meetings with VW Brand partners to ensure alignment on vehicle order optimization
- Stop order lead within the department. In collaboration with Product Support, enable systems holds to prevent dealers form reporting units, disseminate affected units to Field staff. Remove holds from units upon confirmation of the vehicle repairs
- Lead sales operations through strategic development and enhancements of EV ordering portal (VolksKlick) ensuring integration to backend systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering preferred
- Supply chain certification is desired
- 5+ years of experience in a related field, including vehicle supply chain experience
- Analytical thinker with negotiation and influencing skills
- Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation & written
- Computer savvy – skilled in Excel and software
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
- Integration – joining people, processes or systems
- Time management skills
- Project Management skills
- Ability to see the bigger picture with an affinity for UX
- Microsoft Excel, PPT
- Experience with Business Objects, Tableau or MS Power BI is considered an asset
- Experience in VW Group processes and systems (MPL, FAVAS, PVP, APT) an asset
- Proficiency in oral and written French is a plus
