Join a team of passionate custom software builders. You would have at least 5 years in custom software development and can lead a variety of revenue-related functions, such as conversion, prospecting, bizdev, client success and marketing. The goal is to reach ~$7m annual revenue, ~30% growth compared to previous years, managing a 3x sales pipeline.
- Main piece of the work pie
- Strategic planning and execution of sales efforts that are in line with our culture and enhance our positioning as a values-based company. Attract and maintain the right clients. Build long-term relationships. Collect and leverage data to craft efficient growth strategies.
- Facilitate understanding and create an effective, collaborative environment for both client and S&F teams, for a seamless, successful delivery. Build a system or process that will help the team understand clients’ dreams and aspirations to ensure alignment of their business goals with S&F’s internal objectives. To put it simply, facilitate and nurture a mutually beneficial partnership between us and the client.
- Refine our KPIs and goals per sub-department. Develop a compensation and bonuses model based on business performance.
- Build the team and enable their professional and personal growth. Unlock the team’s motivation mechanisms to achieve organizational goals and to truly be a contributing part of the action.
- Ensure the expansion of the S&F client pool according to our ICP. Meet our intangible targets, as well as meet the financial target of $7M in annual revenue.
- Build a strong, regularly revised process around Biz Dev in synchronization with other S&F branches.
- Secondary treats
- Make sure that all data in our tools is up-to-date and is used by the team, which includes managing our HubSpot CRM, Databox, Google Sheets, and a few other tools.
- Generate reports (on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly basis) to ensure the visibility of the team, processes, and results. Provide a clear direction for the company growth to top leadership. Make data-driven decisions for Biz Dev strategies.
- Work with clients directly, if required.
- Needs
- 5+ years in Biz Dev and Sales or related experience in the custom software development field, having led teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Custom software development (not SaaS), digital agency, or related experience. A deep understanding of the full sales cycle: marketing, lead gen, conversion, and account management in custom software development.
- An understanding of IT trends, especially regarding the US market.
- Strategic thinking and great management skills.
- Ambition and ability to take full advantage of growth opportunities that emerge from working closely with the top leadership team. Potential to go to the next level in a reasonably quick timeframe.
- Feedback skills. An open communicator who will provide lots of feedback, push back when necessary, and request feedback following a strong desire to learn.
- Curiosity, wanting to know how everything works, even outside of your direct responsibilities. The capacity to quickly integrate with other functions inside our org.
- Partner mentality. You will not be treated like an employee, but more like a partner (or a service provider, with our leadership team being the client). In other words, this is not just a job (although it’s paid), but an opportunity to grow.
