Travelnet Solutions team is searching for our “go-to” person for reporting and analytics within the Sales Team. We’re looking for someone who is intellectually curious, enjoys numbers and tells a story with the numbers. You’ll use your systems knowledge and analytical skills to find business opportunities in the data and collaborate with internal partners including our business development and strategy teams. This position will report directly to the Sales Operations Manager.

Do these responsibilities describe what you like doing?
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
Developing and maintaining databases, data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format
Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
Managing users and user roles.
Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
Structure large data sets to find usable information
Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information
What are some must-haves?
Salesforce experience and knowledge
Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookups, data modeling, etc.)
Experience using G-Suite (Gmail, Sheets, etc.)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to set and meet deadlines
Ability to work in high-pressure situations
Reporting and data visualization skills
Excellent attention to detail
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst, or a related field.
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
High-level written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
