The Role
The Business Operations Manager, Project Management and Insights is a critical role within the new Business Operations & Rhythm of Business team, reporting to the Senior Lead Business Operations Manager, RoB. This role is responsible to lead meeting calendaring, identify key business insights and themes, maintain and coordinate updating of presentation materials and to document and track action items to completion. As a result, this role makes magic happen by ensuring clear processes, outcomes and actions that enable executive leaders to optimize business performance across segments. On a day-to-day basis, this role will work with colleagues from Marketing, Sales, Product and Operations teams to coordinate adjustments to our RoB process and track progress of open action items . They will bring key insights and share best practices that help everyone exceed budget. The Business Operations Manager, Project Management and Insights will ensure that all programs are executed efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with Lumen’s strategic objectives.
The Main Responsibilities
- Catalog, assign, track, and follow-up on key Actions from meetings, ensuring high awareness to close open issues.
- Work with key members across Product, Finance, and Sales to identify data-driven insights, prioritize for impact, and summarize the insights for each Segment.
- Build and maintain a Segment Scorecard for critical non-quota KPIs.
- Support program management for executive business review program operations function across Lumen teams.
- Serve as a liaison between Product, Sales, Operations and Marketing preparation teams to ensure alignment across the RoB process.
- Support and drive change management initiatives across Business Operations projects.
- Analyzing business operations processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then designing and implementing process improvements to streamline workflows and increase effectiveness.
- Manage monthly refresh of business review templates, ensuring completeness and accuracy of input from stakeholders.
- Capture and track committed actions from meetings to completion, providing support to all teams.
- Publish meeting notes and insights to ensure a shared understanding of meeting outcomes.
- Additional duties as required of the business.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Minimum: Undergraduate degree and applicable experience in finance and project management
- English language proficiency (written & spoken) – Mastery level
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, sales operations, business operations, finance, or marketing operations within a complex GTM environment.
- The ideal candidate will have a working understanding of commercial strategy, business performance and/or finance, and GTM/marketing motions
- Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
- Understanding of project management and change management.
