Summary:
The Data Analyst will work to solve problems, identify opportunities and reporting findings through analysis of large data sets. This role will work with cross-functional business units, including Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Quality, Clinical, OMA and Manufacturing Operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about analytics and implementing new techniques, organized, energetic and possesses the ability to build rapport with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:

Use large data sets to identify internal and external trends of interest.

Integrate data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and update data as needed.

Identify areas to improve data capture and accuracy within existing systems.

Influence internal product updates and process changes needed to produce relevant raw data.

Understand and review existing data models and patterns to identify improvements, recommend improvements in functionality, performance, etc.

Evaluate team’s output to identify where content can be retired or updated to meet evolving business needs.

Produce, analyze, and maintain automated sales reports and dashboards and present data that highlights operational insights and strategies.

Define key metrics through collaborating with cross-functional partners to understand team goals and deliver actionable analytics.

Create dashboards that take complex data and distill it into an easily followed story for business partners.

Support day-to-day inquiries from the sales team, providing efficient resolution of issues.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field (Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computational Science or similar discipline) required.

2+ years of related experience.

Advanced Excel skills required.

Be able to handle large amount of data and automate data collection and calculation process by utilizing different BI tools.

Meticulous attention to detail with experience validating final datasets to ensure accurate tie-out.

Experience providing business partners with actionable insights by taking complex data and telling a visual story.

Intellectual curiosity and agility to navigate ambiguous circumstances.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to manage multiple projects.

Must be self-motivated, results-driven and able to work both independently and in groups.

Previous experience with Alteryx/Knime, Tableau, Python, SQL is a plus.
