Job Description Summary
The Revenue Management Operations Manager must be competent in multiple areas of revenue management. This position requires developed skills through hands-on property experience. The manager will be required to act with a sense of urgency. As the role will be 50% structured and 50% ad hoc the manager will need to be nimble and possess a skill set to pivot quickly. This manager should be a data-driven decision-maker, leveraging data to propose opportunities to generate additional revenue. They may run into problems and have questions, but they need to be able to evaluate, solve, escalate, or hand it off to the appropriate team member without an abundance of support.
Work Environment Remote.
Physical Demands Working online, facilitating conference calls, attending meetings.
Expected Hours of Work Full-time
Travel: Minimal travel may be required.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred and at least two year’s relevant revenue management / reservations experience. Multiple hotel and hotel type (Full-Service, Limited Service, Extended Stay) preferred.
Job Description
Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include:

Identify opportunities to drive revenue, such as go-to-market strategies, tactics to streamline RM support, and potential RM process improvements

Own and execute the identified opportunities/projects

Focus on sourcing and finding opportunities to improve revenues across the region

Partner with leadership to strategize, operationalize, and analyze the impact of business initiatives

Manage/create dashboards to understand impact of the projects

Fill in as Task force when the region has turnover in its leader or manager positions

Collaboration skills: Proven experience acting as a liaison between a variety of departments and stakeholders.

Analytical skills: Ability to track metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze them, and turn them into actionable strategies.

Presentation skills: Must be able to present and share data in a polished, meaningful way, whether it’s a quick email, in-depth report, or presentation deck. Must communicate it in a clear, engaging manner.

Relationship-building: Cross-functionally build trust with other departments and create relationships.
Qualifications and Skills

Five + years relevant revenue management experience.

Proficient in hospitality systems such as CRS, RMS, and PMS.

SynXis, IDeaS, and Opera skills preferred.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.

Extensive knowledge of hotel and hospitality industry.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
