THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL
We are seeking an experienced SAP CPQ & Sales Cloud functional leader who will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing Sciens’s sales processes within SAP CPQ and SAP Sales Cloud. The role will partner with sales, operations, and IT teams to analyze business requirements, design solutions, configure the platforms, and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems within a SAP Public Cloud environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep CPQ expertise with service and project centric solutions to align with business goals and enhance operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
Architecture & Design
- Partner with sales and business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for SAP CPQ and Sales Cloud.
- Identify opportunities to optimize quoting, pricing, approvals, and CRM processes.
Configuration & Support
- Configure SAP CPQ (rules, product catalog, pricing, approval workflows).
- Configure SAP Sales Cloud (leads, opportunities, accounts, pipeline management).
- Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and resolution of system issues.
- Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
Integration & Data Management
- Support integration of CPQ and Sales Cloud with SAP S4 Public Cloud and other enterprise platforms.
- Maintain master data consistency (products, customers, pricing).
- Monitor and troubleshoot interface errors.
Governance & Documentation
- Maintain process and configuration documentation.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance requirements.
- Support change management and release management cycles.
Training & Adoption
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops for sales and operations teams.
- Promote user adoption of new features and process improvements.
Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements for SAP CPQ and SAP Sales Cloud.
- Stay updated on SAP CPQ and SAP Sales Cloud advancements, recommending innovative solutions to improve service and field service delivery.
What We Like About You
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Seven (7)+ years of SAP experience with a focus on SAP CPQ and SAP Sales Cloud
- Three (3)+ years of experience with SAP Public Cloud solutions
- Proven track record of designing and implementing SAP CPQ and SAP Sales Cloud solutions.
Skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP CPQ (formerly Callidus CPQ) and SAP Sales Cloud (C4C).
- Understanding of sales processes: lead-to-quote, quote-to-order, pipeline, and opportunity management.
- Knowledge of product configuration, pricing, discounting, and approvals.
- Familiarity with ERP (SAP S/4 Public Cloud) integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write functional specifications and work with technical teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of SAP Public Cloud architecture and capabilities, including FSM.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile or hybrid project methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field; SAP certifications are a plus.
- Experience in industries with high service and field service demands (e.g., manufacturing, utilities, telecommunications) with Fire & Life Safety preferred.
