Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager of Sales Operations & Project Management is a manager-level role responsible for driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction at Bin to Bottle. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for customers, gathering requirements, translating them into actionable scopes of work (SOWs), and ensuring alignment between customer needs and functional area execution. The role combines strategic business development, commercial execution, and operational leadership to optimize facility performance across winemaking, alternative beverages, bottling, canning, repackaging, and storage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal functional areas (Winemaking, Alternative Beverages, Bottling, Canning, Repack, and Storage).
Gather and document detailed customer requirements, project specifications, and expectations to develop accurate SOWs.
Support sourcing needs and procurement for customer-specific projects.
Translate customer needs into actionable project plans, ensuring clear communication and alignment across departments.
Act as the point of contact for customer inquiries and project updates, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Execute the commercial strategy developed by the CCO, focusing on revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including new commercial leads, projects, and partnerships.
Collaborate with CCO to develop proposals, pricing strategies, and contracts aligned with customer needs.
Monitor and report on sales pipelines, project status, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.
Develop, implement, and lead execution of commercial SOPs in collaboration with other departments to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of projects.
Oversee operational execution of projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
Support resource planning and allocation to ensure projects are adequately staffed and equipped for success.
Participate in strategic planning for capacity, facility expansion, and service offerings.
Provide input into pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial terms to protect company interests while satisfying customer requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain; or equivalent
10+ years of experience in sales, operations, or project management within winemaking, beverage production, or related industries.
Strong understanding of winemaking, alternative beverages, bottling, canning, and storage operations.
Proven experience in business development, commercial strategy execution, and client relationship management.
Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in project management software and MS Office/Google Workspace.
