Position Summary
In this role, you will be integral part of the sales operations team providing support to day to day activities inclusive of customer relationship management (CRM), roster, territory, and data management. You will be the face of operations to the field team, serving as their initial point of contact for inquiries. You will oversee all data management activities and provide support on a variety of field operations initiatives such CRM, territory sizing and alignments, incentive compensation, and targeting.
Essential Functions

Establish processes and procedures to assist with field sales employee onboarding inclusive of field roster

Train field sales team on operations processes and systems and be the point of contact for field inquiries

Lead quarterly processes such as territory alignment updates and oversee customer universe business rules

Perform commercial data stewardship activities and help to answer/resolve data inquiries from field sales

Manage the day to day operations of customer master, including requests to add, inactivate, merge, and update accounts in CRM.

Work with field sales to maintain updates to customer master attributes utilized for incentive compensation and sales reporting, such as prescriber and health care organization alignment address.

Establish policies and procedures to maintain integrity of data and ensure compliance with AMA and other regulations.

Identify and implement improvements to customer master data quality.

Identify and implement improvements to CRM based on field sales and home office feedback/needs.

Support targeting, segmentation, and sales force sizing activities.

Support sales incentive compensation program including generating goals, incentive compensation reporting, attainment calculation and payouts as well as special incentive programs, contests, etc.

Support field sales reporting initiatives, including the build of dashboards and insights for quarterly business reviews.

Support business processes including quarterly sales business planning, annual brand planning, and other projects that require data/insights to inform strategy

Perform other tasks as assigned
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or related field

3+ years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical commercial operations with specific use and application of pharmaceutical sales/marketing data sets

Advanced Excel skills are required

Experience working with CRM systems, particularly Veeva and Salesforce.com

This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity award. The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.
$102,000 (entry-level qualifications) to $140,000 (highly experienced)
