800.com is a rapidly growing, ambitious startup in the cloud communications space that’s looking for a
Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) who will be driving revenue growth and maximizing the company's revenue potential. The CRO will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute a sales strategy, lead the sales team, and oversee customer success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue and growth, leading high-performing sales teams, and creating and executing successful sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue growth and customer acquisition
- Lead and manage the sales team to exceed revenue targets
- Oversee customer success, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
- Work with the CEO and senior leadership team to create and execute business development plans
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform sales and business development strategies
- Develop and implement sales processes and metrics to drive results and continuous improvement
- Represent 800.com at industry events and conferences
Requirements
What you have to offer:
- At least 10 years of leadership experience in a tech startup environment, preferably in the Telcom or CPaaS (Communications Provider as a Service) industry, or SaaS.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the IT field, including cloud communications technologies and architecture best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor team members.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to develop action plans for achieving company goals.
- Deep understanding of cloud-based technologies and how they can be used effectively.
- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset, with the drive to build something from scratch.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a natural aptitude for building relationships with customers and partners.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, able to effectively manage budgets for short-term and long-term planning.
- Ability to think innovatively and take calculated risks to drive business growth and development.
- A track record of success and a passion for pushing boundaries and finding innovative solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
