Green Development LLC, the leading developer of large-scale renewable energy projects in Rhode Island, is seeking an entrepreneurial and motivated individual to support current and future solar, wind, and energy storage projects. The Revenue Operations Specialist will report to the Director of FP&A within the Finance Team to manage customer revenue processing and asset performance. He or she will need to excel in an extremely high-paced and deadline-focused environment. This is a perfect opportunity to gain broad exposure to the renewable energy industry within a rapidly growing company.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build and optimize internal invoicing and receivables data for all customers across our solar, wind, and energy storage portfolio
- Manage the monthly transfer of utility billing data into our internal system and assess the process for continuous improvement
- Update, maintain, and communicate asset management reports pertaining to the production, operations, and financial performance of each asset
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of models built with Excel, Microsoft Power BI, and other analysis tools to analyze AR metrics, trends, and potential issues
- Assess and track compliance with offtake contracts such as Net Metering Credit (NMC) agreements and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
Qualifications
- A BA/BS degree is required; a major or concentration in Finance or Economics is desired.
- A strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting is required.
- Advanced Excel skills are required; experience using Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- 1-2 years of finance, renewable energy, or banking experience is a plus.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- Must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to produce results on short notice and under tight deadlines with minimal oversight.
