Who You Are:
The successful candidate will guide the Michael Kors brand’s supply chain planning teams to best in class Sales and Operations Planning processes, collaborating cross-functionally with S&OE, sales, retail planning, finance, merchandising, supply chain operations and production. The Manager of S&OP is responsible for executing the roadmap to S&OP maturity and standardization across Michael Kors regions with focus on long term planning and decision-making optimizing customer service levels, operational costs, and margin and revenue attainment. The Manager will provide strong partnered ownership in interweaving the S&OE (Sales and Operations Execution) short-term planning tools, knowledge and capabilities with the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) strategic planning tools, knowledge and capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
Key Accountabilities
- Own execution of the monthly S&OP cycle
- Continuous improvement of existing S&OP processes
- Own and improve strategy related KPIs
- Communicate, present and influence cross-functional partners
- Ensure seamless transition of information and decision making with S&OE process
Key Partners
- Internal: Retail Planning, Distribution, Finance, Wholesale Sales, Logistics, Production
- External: Relationship maintenance and educational opportunities with organization providing integrated business planning guidance, tools, and support
You’ll Need to Have:
- B.S. or higher in supply chain/operations management or 5+ years’ equivalent experience
- Good communication skills and ability to interface with executive leadership team
- Proficient at S&OE and S&OP cycles
- Experience creating executive friendly presentations on complex business and supply chain topics and presenting to executive team
- Strong analytical, organizational and decision making skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships
- Ability to drive change in a cross-functional environment
- Leadership presence and the ability to influence and drive change through the S&OP process
- Experience with change management
- Knowledge of systems/processes that ensure decisions are data driven
