The Sales Operations Manager oversees all aspects of sales operations for Wynne Systems. This includes management of sales team members, managing sales opportunities individually and with the sales team, as well as the development and execution of the sales strategy.

Objectives of this role
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings
- Research customer and vertical needs and identify how our solutions address them
- Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of salespeople responsible for new logo and back-to-base sales
- Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
- Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, developing and leading team members, and ensure salespeople are using effective sales tactics and methods to meet revenue objectives
- Generate leads, oversee team opportunities, and establish and nurture client and partner relationships
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a sales plan that expands our customer base and grows the business in North America and Australia in identified key verticals.
- Meet with clients, potential clients, and partners to grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
- Recruit salespeople, set objectives, train, and coach, and monitor and manage team and individual performance
- Identify knowledge and skills gaps within the team and develop action plans for addressing them
- Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to provide support, set objectives and monitor progress
- Participate in month-end; quarter-end; and year end close and reporting processes.
- Participate and engage in recurring management huddles, meetings, and strategy sessions.
Required skills and qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in a senior sales role or sales engineering role
- Proven record of sales success operating within the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong leadership ability
- Ability to travel internationally
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Five or more years of experience managing a B2B sales team
- Software sales in the retail, rental, and service industries.
- Proven sales success rate at levels above sales quota
- Coaching and people management
