*Position is based in Denver, Colorado and will require relocation for daily onsite presence*
The Vice President of Supply Chain is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and resource stewardship for the supply chain operations of the organization. As Vice President, this position requires collaborative and productive relationships from production through processing and into distribution.
Duties:
- Effectively collaborate and partner with multiple senior leaders across Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehousing, Distribution, and other functions
- Manage the ongoing IBP monthly cadence and deliverables to ensure demand/supply alignment while driving business performance and decisions. Apply best practices for driving Integrated Business Planning process improvements and change management.
- Provide planning leadership and direction to ensure the global supply chain needs of a business unit are met, cost-effectively
- Develop supply plans to ensure an accurate and seamless supply to customers while reducing risk and minimizing waste
- Lead procurement for Company, leveraging supply plans and ensuring supplier execution and accountability. Manage supplier strategies for medium sized and local purchases.
- Change agent and key influencer for digital transformation activity projects across the company.
- Lead the process and the continued development of S&OP for Company; partner with demand, sales, and operations teams to optimize process and drive key decisions.
- Support long term strategy of integrated business planning and enhanced forecasting across CBB.
- Identify, implement, and optimize Supply Chain tools: warehouse management, transportation management, ERP, and more.
- Establish and drive execution of performance improvements based on key supply metrics
- Drive programs and actions to improve working capital.
- Leader of Company Supply Chain Leadership Team, including direct management of other Directors and supply chain personnel.
- Some travel expected, primarily in United States
- Partner with corporate teams to leverage and drive best practices as well as to ensure optimized, standardized, and compliant solutions across all Business Units.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or relevant field.
- 15 years of operational experience in Supply Chain Management, SIOP, Manufacturing and Logistics. Preferably in personal care products, alternative medicine, pharmaceutical industry, or food/beverage production.
- 5+ years of senior operational experience with formal IBP, SIOP, or S&OP planning processes, tools, and best practices.
- Deep understanding of operating in a continuous improvement environment, as well as some experience with Lean thinking.
- Demonstrated success with demand planning and driving IBP process improvements, best practices, and change management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Experience with developing and enhancing analytics and end-to-end planning tools and systems.
- Action oriented, self-starter who can drive strategy while also being hands-on to manage day-to-day tactical activities. Ability to collaborate and partner with all levels of an organization.
