About the role
The Sales Operations Analyst reports directly to our Head of Sales and is responsible for ensuring that all internal stakeholders are equipped with information, research, insight and analysis relating to Novia’s sales activity and team functions.
The role holder will ensure that data is not only collated but analysed effectively and actionable insight created. The focus of this work will be organised into periodic reporting deliverables and often requires deep dives into certain key performance indicators where stakeholders may have additional questions or need further insights.
We operate a flexible hybrid working environment here at Novia, with a mixture of office and remote working required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the sales funnel across all opportunity types.
- Ownership and management of Salesforce CRM system.
- Data stewardship for all data sources required by the sales team.
- Manage third party data tools to provide sales team with timely reports and analysis of opportunities.
- Generate regular and bespoke sales reports and analysis including sales forecasting.
- Delivering valuable and timely reporting to all levels of the sales leadership.
- Monitoring sales and marketing performance metrics.
- Supporting frontline sales team with data analysis and campaign management.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to run successful campaigns.
- Organise sales team training including inductions for new joiners.
- Organise sales team meetings including external guests, including ownership and tracking of follow up actions.
- Streamlining and optimising the sales reporting.
- Implementing, and managing sales tools.
- Representing sales team at internal working groups and reporting back to sales leadership.
- Working on projects that involve stakeholders across the business: finance teams, marketing and strategic teams.
- Completing and recording adviser due diligence requests
You will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities that fall within your capabilities as directed by senior leadership.
About you (what we’re looking for)
Specialist Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Analytics and reporting expertise using Salesforce
- High level of competency with Excel including linking complex datasets from different sources and data manipulation
- Ability to leverage raw data into actionable insights
- Good business Acumen along with effective organisational skills
- Pipeline management and project management
- Good interpersonal and people skills
- Robust communication skills, comfortable with sharing reports and demonstrating an ability to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
- Strong written and oral communication and competency in presentation software
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
Desirable:
- Understanding of platforms and UK financial advice.
- Previous experience as a data analyst or sales operations analyst
