Business Analyst - Sales Operations (Remote)

The Service Solutions organization puts the customer at the center. We are passionate about the customer journey and continuously seek improvements to the technology that supports this customer journey. A Business Analyst on our team is a facilitator and mediator for the digital backbone of service systems at Tektronix. In this role you will be a catalyst for our service solutions sales strategies. Your work will enable Tektronix to make better decisions and implement business solutions that make a difference. You’ll drive long-term value using technology process design and data across multiple functions and regions.

Responsibilities

Build cases for new technologies/services being considered.

Lead projects or major work-streams within defined roadmap projects.

Analyze current business processes, always on the lookout for ways to improve existing business process. Use industry standard methods to improve these processes.

Work with business leaders primarily from services, sales, and marketing to develop a solid understanding of their business needs.

Facilitate consensus building to both align process where possible and rationalize where applicable. Work with IT and other operations team members to translate those requirements into a viable technical solution.

Once the solution is identified and built, demonstrate system changes to the group of partners to ensure all relevant needs are met

Provide business critical insights using analytics and help teams drive new initiatives forward.

Take part in the creation and execution of test plans.

Advise management and project teams of any facts, events, or information that may impact the success of a project or deliverable.

Perform ad-hoc data analysis across a variety of business functions and data sources

Own assigned projects and drive to completion, collaborating, when vital, with other marketing, sales and IT team members

Assist in the identification of data quality (accuracy, completeness, etc.) issues.

Assist with the process of database design for assigned projects. As appropriate, train other individuals and teams in the routine use of data collection, analysis, and reporting and interpretation tools for measuring performance.

Provide consultation, data analysis and project management for business customers across the organization. Communicate technical / analytical concepts to others.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience of Business Analysis experience working with Sales teams

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant years of demonstrated ability

Experience with Customer Relationship Management software

Shown understanding of relevant business management principles; comfortable with continuous improvement culture

Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to turn sophisticated concepts into simple language

Ability to acquire a deep understanding of business needs

Sound planning and organizational skills with high level attention to detail

Proven experience prioritizing multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a high energy, fast-paced, evolving environment

Work independently and with others; self-directed and task oriented

Curiosity about new technologies

Ability to think systematically with a bias to action

National: The salary range for this position is $77,600- $144,000

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
