Morgan Chase's Commercial Real Estate Banking businesses include Commercial Term Lending, Real Estate Banking, Community Development Banking, and Agency Lending which serve a diverse set of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) clients, from individual CRE owners and investors to large sophisticated corporate CRE clients with broad banking relationship needs. We also serve community development organizations that invest in the development of affordable housing and economic development projects. The Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Digital team at JP Morgan Chase is moving quickly to disrupt the Commercial Real Estate sector with innovative financial and technology solutions. The business is looking to deliver highly personalized, real time experiences that our clients increasingly expect.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial accountability and transparency for a new and growing business. As the Chief Financial Officer, you will maintain strong financial discipline by partnering with business and functional leaders to provide sound advice, analyses, reporting, and financial controls. You will also be responsible for managing investments, expenses, and other profitability levers with an eye on executing against a multi-year business plan. Your success in this role requires a hands on approach, strong leadership skills, Finance and Business Management expertise, and strong collaboration and influencing skills with senior leaders.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis for stand-alone digital business
- Creating and updating financial business cases supporting monetization and key initiatives
- Developing and tracking performance metrics, creating presentations, and generally providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management
- Partner closely with product, technology, and middle office finance teams to provide wholistic view of expenses and financial results
- Lead deliverables including monetization and front office revenue growth initiatives
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of total experience including a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in Finance or Business Management
- Excellent stakeholder management and strong influencing and executive-level communication skills
- Technical skills to support profitability modeling and explaining impacts at a high level
- Proven capability to manage across a large, global organization with multiple constituents
- Success with working collaboratively and developing strong, positive working relationships across a matrixed organization
- Experience with a fintech or software delivery company, Financial services industry experience a plus
- MBA, CFA or advanced Finance/Accounting degree preferable
