We're searching for a forward-thinking Head of Sales/VP of Sales, to join our patient-centric supply chain organization in the life sciences industry, dedicated to connecting patients with new medicines across the globe.
Main Purpose
Executive and strategic development of Global Home Healthcare Service, Kits, Ancillary Supplies as well as Operational Excellence; strategic development and oversight of Decentralized Clinical Trials strategy and continued integration within core service areas including logistics and clinical trial distribution (CTD).
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Working with the marketing department to design promotional materials for the company's products and services.
- Identifying where improvements can be made and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs.
- Managing sales teams and maintaining sales operations.
- Outlining and managing sales budgets.
- Setting quarterly and annual sales goals and motivating the sales teams to achieve their goals.
- Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting.
- Reviewing customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, and improving customer satisfaction.
- Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.
- Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree
- Proven ability to manage large teams of people in a highly matrixed organization
- Strong business acumen with experience with P&L oversight
- At least 10 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical trial or life sciences industry experience with a focus in decentralised clinical trials, clinical operations, logistics, ancillary supplies and/or home healthcare
