Teal Communications, Inc. is a telecommunications company headquartered in Seattle, Washington that is looking for a motivated and experienced Sales & Operations Administrator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced business environment and will be responsible for an array of tasks supporting the sales team, Seattle office, customer needs, and operational processes while increasing cross-departmental communication leading to more efficient sales processes. This candidate should be a Jack or Jill of all trades, someone who doesn’t shy away from wearing many hats or taking the initiative in getting the job done.
The Sales & Operations Administrator will report to Teal's Senior Vice President of Sales & Business Development and work closely with our sales team. Responsibilities:
- Handle sales support tasks including data entry into CRM system (Salesforce), processing of sales orders, and management of communication to clients in representative’s absence.
- Support process improvements within the sales organization, as well as track and measure data relevant to their functional areas.
- Support business operations and office management; including but not limited to being in office 4-5 days a week to receive packages, mail and handle ordering company resources as needed (technology hardware, food & beverages, etc.)
- Act as first point of contact for the company’s main phoneline which includes general inquiries and managing inbound sales calls.
- Handle ongoing communication with customers regarding sales order logistics, troubleshooting and general inquiries.
- Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes.
- Maintain an understanding of the strategic direction and goals of the Sales team and support appropriate processes to facilitate achievement of business objectives.
- Manage team access to internal tools (Salesforce, FreshDesk, Outreach, etc.)
- Quarterback communication across sales, solutions, and customer success teams to support onboarding of new customer accounts and implementation roll outs.
- Partner with sales and marketing departments to support with lead qualification process, campaign performance analyzation and dashboard reporting.
- Work with the marketing team to distribute and organize sales aids and other materials to the sales team, and ensure their appropriate use, availability, and flag when updates are needed.
Qualifications:
- Located in the greater Seattle area with ability to be in office 4-5 days a week.
- 2-3 years’ experience in sales support or sales operations roles.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business administration, logistics, or in a similar field.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and content priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy working on a team where you can learn, grow, and help others to do the same.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- 2-3 years’ experience using Salesforce. Being certified is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing projects and needs.
- Strong customer service background.
Compensation:
