The Direct Sales Operations Coordinator is a multi-faceted position, responsible for directly supporting Wine Club, E-commerce, Shipping operations, assisting the Direct to Consumer team with administrative tasks, and providing impeccable service to consumers. Energized by the pursuit of excellence, the Direct Sales Operations Coordinator applies their curiosity, affinity for process, and strong organizational skills to understand and improve processes and consumer experiences. Ultimately, this role combines passion for hospitality, wine, and service to build brand loyalty and achieve sales goals.
THE ROLE
- Collaborate with Direct Sales Operations Manager on all facets of the REX HILL Wine Club operations
- Assist with organization and fulfillment of club shipments; daily shipping orders, creation and communication of club shipment timelines, organization, and assembly of all elements of club shipments
- Work to achieve or exceed monthly e-commerce sales goals through the development and execution of sales initiatives, while monitoring systems related to e-commerce sales, database management and inventory tracking and reconciliation
- Create and post weekly Tasting Room sales report recapping the previous week’s sales figures, club enrollments and measurable outcomes
- Assist with invoice coding for monthly billing reports
- Pour and present wines to educate guests about our wines, while providing exceptional service when supporting the Tasting Room team
- Develop strong understanding of Tasting Room operations including winery history, POS, wine club sales, and opening and closing duties

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Exemplary customer service and communications skills are a must
- High school diploma or equivalent minimum requirement; associate’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Wine Direct, Mail Chimp, Microsoft Outlook & Excel preferred
- Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends or holidays, due to club or tasting room events
- Able to stand for extended periods of time as well as lift, carry (up & down stairs) and rotate 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Willingness to wear a face mask throughout the course of scheduled shifts, if required
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, hold a valid OLCC card, and have the ability to get to and from offsite events
