The Opportunity:
This Sales Operations Manager is poised to be the right hand person to the Sales team here at Upstream Works Software. Reporting into the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for using systems, data and tools to elevate the Sales team’s knowledge and capabilities, helping us achieve our goals better, more quickly and with fewer obstacles. Let’s get started.
What you'll do:
- Assist in the building and maintaining of sales operational reports and dashboards, including reporting and forecasting
- Support the team with ad hoc data collection, analysis and visualization requests
- Serve as subject matter expert and first point of contact for sales team on sales processes, systems, questions and issues, including pricing
- Coordinate RFP responses by working with the sales team, and cross-functional partners, on corporate RFP content
- Monitor/maintain data quality of customer information within the CRM and identify gaps in reporting and pipeline
- Implement new processes and technologies as needed to support the Sales team
- Assist with account management, including quoting, and renewal support
- Assist in driving attendance to events that Upstream Works attends via email, social and telephone calls
- Assist in preparing PPT Decks for key pitches
- Act as a point of contact for other departments such as marketing
Here’s how your skills come into play:
- Minimum of 2 years successfully working in sales operations or analytics team
- Experience using data visualization tools and reporting building systems
- Technical expertise in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint and Word required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively and multitask proactively
- Ability to work well in groups
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
- As some of our customer’s data is governed by privacy laws, a security check may be required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or other related field would be advantageous
- Experience in enterprise software sales is an asset
- Legally entitled to work in Canada or UK, with a willingness to flexibility work across time-zones as a matter of course
