Job Description
The Regional Vice President is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the regional sales organization. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, the VP fosters close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of his/her respectful region.
Regional Vice President Responsibilities
- Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving regional sales goals.
- Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets.
- Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
- Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting to AHQ/HQ.
Regional Vice President Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales
- May require occasional lifting/carrying of up to 20 pounds
- Minimum 10 years experience in a sales operation, business planning, or sales support management role.
- Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives.
- 4-year degree (minimum), prefer MBA or equivalent
