Job Summary:
We are seeking a Chief Revenue Officer to lead our sales and revenue generation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment of success in driving revenue growth for technology companies, particularly in the software and consulting space. As the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for creating and executing a revenue growth strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue growth strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead the sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for both the software platform and consulting services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners for both the software platform and consulting services.
- Identify new market opportunities and drive business development efforts to expand the company's customer base for both the software platform and consulting services.
- Develop pricing strategies and models that maximize revenue and profitability for both the software platform and consulting services.
- Manage and optimize the sales pipeline to ensure timely and efficient sales conversion for both the software platform and consulting services.
- Monitor and analyze sales and revenue performance for both the software platform and consulting services and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the company's products and services meet the needs of the market and customers for both the software platform and consulting services.
- Participate in sales/networking/trade show events. Access to transportation is required. Regional/national and international travel will be required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales and revenue generation, preferably in the software and consulting industries.
- Demonstrated record of accomplishment of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in both software and consulting industries.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Public speaking/presentation skills
- Expansive network of key corporate decision-makers.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working with technology; data and computer software to make data-driven decisions to drive revenue growth.
Technical Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software: The ability to be able to use CRM software to manage customer data and track sales performance. For example: Hubspot.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365: PowerPoint/Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams
- Knowledge of Marketing Automation software: The ability to understand how to use marketing automation software to automate and optimize the sales funnel. i.e.: Mailchimp, Hubspot Sequences etc.
- Data analysis: The ability to be able to analyze data to gain insights into customer behavior, identify trends, and track revenue growth.
- Online advertising: The ability to understand the basics of online advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads to drive traffic and revenue.
- Budgeting and forecasting: The ability to be able to use spreadsheets and financial software to create budgets, track expenses, and forecast revenue growth.
- Understanding of software development processes: The ability to understand how software development processes work, and how to work effectively with a technology and ownership team to build and implement new revenue-generating tools.

Compensation:
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications; to include salary, commissions (unlimited), benefits, and stock options. (Starting salary is 120k).
