The Sales Strategy & Operations (SS&O) team partners with advertising sales leaders across sales strategy and analytics, operations and process and tools. Team members are experts in business strategy and operations and analytical and strategic thinking. They are pragmatic and results-oriented.
As a SS&O manager, you’ll focus on enabling sales leadership and the broader sales organization to execute effectively at scale. You’ll be responsible for designing and managing key internal sales processes (including account planning, inputs management, and global sales priorities), making high-priority internal operations more efficient for our sellers, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners to implement system and process improvements that will drive revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
- Own execution and continuous improvement of core business processes for the 1000+ person Global Sales organization
- Proactively identify and redefine processes and systems that improve and scale our business
- Work directly with key sales leaders on critical operational, organizational and strategic projects designed to increase revenue, sales productivity and operational efficiency.
- Structure and execute on projects by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses, building relevant working groups, and developing final recommendations.
- Analyze and determine key insights from internal operating metrics. Translate data into insights and action, and communicate recommendations to sales leadership and the broader organization.
- Work with and influence cross-functional teams including Global Sales Solutions, Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, and IT to drive joint workstreams to improve seller productivity.
- Drive efforts to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales Strategy & Operations team itself
What We’re Looking For
- Our PinFlex future of work philosophy requires this role to visit a Pinterest office for collaboration approximately once per quarter). For employees not located within a commutable distance from this in-office touchpoint, Pinterest will cover T&E. Learn more about PinFlex here.
- 6+ years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or equivalent project management experience in a technology/media company
- Passion for operational rigor and driving productivity improvements for both stakeholders and your team; organized and detail-oriented
- Understanding of sales and digital advertising platforms plus working knowledge of sales systems and tools including Salesforce
- Proven ability to be successful in a complex, fast-paced environment, planning and managing at both the strategic and operational level, and collaborating with XFN stakeholders effectively
- “Builder” mindset - proven ability to independently identify problems and pursue solutions for them
- Demonstrated problem solving experience providing data-driven business insights
- Highly structured, clear, and concise written and verbal communication that effectively drives action from audiences at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with SQL and Tableau is a plus

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
