Enel X Advisory Services is a business line of Enel X that offers a spectrum of energy-related advisory services (Consulting, Reporting & Data Management, Transactional) helping customers navigate complex competitive energy supply markets through to implementing decarbonisation roadmaps and renewable energy projects. Enel X works with the customer to design a holistic strategy encompassing energy reporting, energy supply and energy management programmes and to actively track and evaluate the performance of that strategy over time. Enel X Advisory Services is a global business with a strong presence and track record in Europe. As we scale the business with a larger set of corporate clients we are seeking a Sales Operations Associate to manage the European sales operations and enablement function, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify system, data or process needs that can drive revenue growth.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Operations Associate is responsible for helping to make the sales process more efficient by directly supporting the sales cycle from opportunity creation through contract signature and ensuring clean handoffs to delivery teams in support of the customer onboarding experience.
The successful individual will also partner with the international sales teams in complex deal cycles to drive stakeholder alignment and executive sign off. This role also entails regular interactions with sales teams in other Enel X regions (Americas & APAC) to coordinate solution offerings with multi-national scopes.
Working closely with the Head of Sales for Europe, the Sales Operations Associate will also assist with analysing sales trends and implications, and driving insights to inform Sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating customer contracts based on template agreements
- Reviewing signed contracts and supporting documentation to ensure that Enel’s CRM reflects contractual obligations, ensuring successful product delivery and compliance with Company policies
- Acting as a liaison between Sales, Legal, Finance and other internal teams regarding commercial contracting questions
- Making consistent, positive contributions to establishing and maintaining an inclusive team culture of professional excellence
- Supporting system and process improvement projects with involvement in requirements gathering, design, testing & launch of enhancements
- Using quantitative and qualitative analysis to support the broader sales and operations teams by supporting report and dashboard creation/management and synthesizing data into actionable recommendations
- Coordinating the flow of data and documentation among internal teams
- Providing training on both a scheduled and ad-hoc basis for members of the Enel X sales organization
- Utilizing Enel’s CRM system to track key activities in the sales process to ensure compliance and completeness
- Making consistent, positive contributions to establishing and maintaining an inclusive team culture of professional excellence
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S./B.A.
- 1-3 years relevant professional experience (in a Sales Operations or related role preferred)
- Highly productive and efficient, with an ability to multi-task across a broad set of deadline-oriented tasks and with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in productivity tools, specifically MS Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to tailor a written or verbal communication to multiple cultural environments
- Prior CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce); ability to build reports and dashboards
- Experience or desire to work with contracts
- Strong quantitative aptitude
- A need to assume responsibility for work
- A drive to achieve excellent outcomes that is internal, constant & self-imposed
- Fluency in English language in a business context.
