KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a local technology company in the greater Boston area who is looking to add a Revenue Operations Manager to their team. The position is a hybrid role, having to go into the office one day a week, and offers excellent career growth and benefit package.
About you – you need to have a minimum of eight years of experience working in the revenue department of a privately held software / technology company with significant exposure to ASC606. You will be the subject matter expert for all revenue accounting and ASC 606 revenue recognition. You will be the technical expert for all agreements for the organization.

The role will entail building, driving, and owning key processes and providing operational support for the Senior Director of Revenue, SVP of Marketing, and the entire Sales and Marketing organization. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Director of Revenue.
Primary Job Responsibilities - Process Improvement and Adoption
- Define/document/implement channel operational processes (e.g. pricing, quoting, deal registration, partner onboarding)
- Partner with cross-functional teams to inspect sales process quality and prioritize/drive improvements
- Develop a deep understanding of the business and drive processes to maintain CRM data integrity
- Develop/deliver weekly training sessions for sales to enable the team on system usage, product knowledge
- Sales Strategy and Analysis
- Prepare and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) related to overall sales performance
- Support alignment/maintenance of territories and quota allocation among all sales channels/teams
- Assist sales leaders with ad-hoc operational projects
- Sales Infrastructure and Tools
- Coordinate with internal and external technology owners to maintain and enhance our tools
- Manage/recommend enabling technologies and workflows, including CRM, CPQ, PRM for sales teams
- Own process and data hygiene enforcement for CRM data

Technical Requirements
- Proficient in NetSuite as a power user and fluent in CRM administration and reporting
- Proficient in Office365 software, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Proficient and capable of analyzing sales performance and have a key understanding of the sales cycle and how to influence performance based on data analysis
Education and Experience
- 8 or more years’ experience in sales strategy, sales operations, and/or management consulting; software industry and channel sales experience, a huge plus
- BA/BS in Business Administration or equivalent documented experience
- Organized with strong project management and ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams
- Strong self-starter with experience in high-growth, entrepreneurial company environments
- Experience with Salesforce, channel partner portals, and related tools, certifications a plus
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with experience in providing training to sales staff, and able to develop and create effective presentations
