SUMMARY
We are looking for a full-time Sales Operations Manager to stand up the sales operations function at Doozy, responsible for working closely with the Revenue team in support of sales and marketing process administration. The ideal candidate will provide sales and marketing user support of our CRM system (NetSuite) and Marketing Automation system (Hubspot) and work collaboratively with team members to ensure data integrity and quality.
Initial focus will be on completing an in-depth analysis of the sales process to enable better processes and execution. The Sales Operations Manager will work closely with members of the Sales, Revenue, Legal, Professional Services, and Marketing departments on a daily basis, and will coordinate with the Product and operations teams as needed for specific projects.
As a member of our Revenue department, you will empower our Revenue team to communicate, collaborate, manage customer relationships, and – of course – sell. Your role is critical to ensure our Revenue team can operate efficiently and understand the impact of its work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Make selling easier, more repeatable and procedural, and less time-consuming by delivering a best-in-class sales library and process automation across the sales pipeline
• Help drive efficiencies and scalability via CRM guidance and advocacy
• Monitor and report on activity and revenue KPIs, including lead gen, MQLs, SQLs, etc.
• Design workflows and playbooks for sales teams
• Support sales team by assisting with quoting accuracy and process optimization
• Introduction and implementation of all necessary proposal procedures and governance
• Identify and eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
• Oversee implementation of enabling systems and tools, working closely with internal systems teams
• Oversee CRM database, including imports, segmentation, etc. to maintain accuracy and integrity
• Make sure the CRM follows the sales process, allows for insightful data analytics, and builds dashboards on top of CRM data
• Provide data stewardship for accurate partner, prospect and customer data cleansing and creation within NetSuite and HubSpot
• Understand, document and oversee Doozy’s business operations technology initiatives, including the external website, department Intranet, CRM, and marketing technology
• Create insights from sales data
• Tech Stack Management - Audits, Evaluations and Maintenance
• Troubleshoot and maintain all sales supporting tools
• Process and report on deal and lead registrations
• Build positive relationships through proactive communication and resolution of issues and questions
• Facilitate an organization of continuous process improvement
• Support RFP and sales evaluation requests as an analyst and project manager
• Coordinate RFP tracking and responses
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4+ years of experience in sales operations and/or business systems.
• High-tech company experience (SaaS/Cloud model preferred).
• CRM experience creating reports, optimizing processes, training new hires, managing dashboards, and more.
• Business acumen to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
• Exposure to or familiarity with working with and supporting Fortune 500 corporate customers.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving unique business problems
• Energetic, self-motivated, highly committed to drive results with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions, and garner respect from other teams and individuals.
• Good general understanding of technology
• Proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals within a complex business environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong time management/prioritization skills
• Diplomatic with strong negotiation and resolution skills.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Intermediate or better with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
