VP Sales Operations
About the Role
As a member of the senior leadership team, the VP of Sales Operations will drive the go-to-market
strategy for Welcome Wagon. The priority is to grow the SMB sales team to expand the customer base.
You will optimize the teams’ productivity by improving the efficiency of our sales processes and systems.
Much of your insight will come from process analysis of key sales metrics and sales productivity to identify
best practices. In addition, you will upgrade and implement effective sales tools and automations systems
that increase revenue for scale.
*This is an in-office position with flexibility to work from home or hybrid.

Welcome Wagon is the world's largest welcoming service to the new homeowner. We provide a variety of
products to help local businesses (our customers) acquire new customers by advertising to new
homeowners in their local markets. We promote our client’s services through a variety of methods, such
as advertising sales, data sales, gift books, and direct mail advertising.
Responsibilities
Develop the SMB sales strategy for the company
Create and implement sales processes
Own and lead projects to scale and improve our systems and processes, maximizing automation,
formalizing our procedures, and introducing best practices from lead generation to customer
retention
Track and analyze key sales metrics and business trends as they relate to sales productivity and
performance to improve sales productivity (e.g., sales analytics, lead funnel, opportunity attrition,
outbound calls, 1 st appointments, proposals submitted, signed contracts, order activity, order
fulfillment)
Provide essential sales support to our sales team
Research and analyze data to create sales forecasts and ensure fulfillment
Collaborate with other departments and upper management to identify business goals and ensure
alignment with sales strategy
Identify ideal customers and sales opportunities by analyzing sales data and consumer trends
Create and manage automation tools to increase sales process efficiency
Implement and manage CRM tools to maximize opportunities and customer relationships
Develop mutually beneficial strategic partners for Welcome Wagon
Ensure appropriate KPI's are in place and that they are aligned with sales goals and objectives
Experience
5 or more years Sales Operations experience, with proficient expertise in sales process
improvement and sales automation tools
Leadership experience managing a successful team
Expertise in sales analytics by leads, sales stage, sales methodology and productivity with proven
experience identifying areas to define, course correct and improve processes for scale
Experience in marketing strategy and implementation
Knowledge of the sales process with a primary focus on developing and enforcing processes for
increased efficiency across the sales team
Ability to identify areas where we can improve sales productivity and impact revenue - analyze,
course correct, and implement as needed
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent Microsoft Query skills
Proficient in CRM application skills (ie. GSuite, VTiger, Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive, etc.)
Experience in the print industry (ideal, but not required)
B.S./B.A. degree in Business Administration or equivalent
