About the Role:
The Sales Operations Specialist works across teams and geographies supporting and optimizing Docker’s revenue enablement ecosystem. This role contributes to creating and maintaining good customer and sales partner relationships and ensuring smooth sales team operations. You will collaborate with other departments to identify gaps, maintain accuracy, and validate effective materials to ensure revenue reporting and help drive repeatable revenue opportunities. Reporting to the Dir Business Systems & Revenue Enablement, this role is vital in supporting and evolving Docker’s global sales infrastructure.
Responsibilities:- Support internal sales processes to enable continuous reporting and data accuracy
- Hands-on usage of Salesforce to verify, correct, and input data
- Coordination with requests and approvals
- Provide troubleshooting assistance to sales on process adherence and system questions
- Partner with sales leadership, deal desk, and systems administrators to identify learning opportunities, draft enablement materials, and coordinate training
- Provide Deal Desk support for quoting, pricing, and customer data management that aligns with defined policies and processes
- Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is prepared for action
- Act as liaison between Sales and Ops/Provisioning Support
- Identification of areas for process improvement and coordination with systems admin and enablement teams to develop and implement solutions
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem as a Sales, Support, Customer Success, or Operations user
- Experience with LeadIQ, Outreach, Sales Navigator
- Comfortable presenting to an audience and proactively engaging with internal business users
- Comfortable working in an environment with a sense of urgency with ambitious work ethic - you love seeing the impacts of your work reflected in the success of your team
- Problem solver - ability to identify areas of improvement and need to be able to find solutions independently and effectively
- Can work well in team settings and help drive efficiency
- Acute attention to detail
Nice to have:
- Strong understanding of Customer 360 views
- A love of open source
- Experience with SaaS products
- Startup experience preferred
In the first 30 days you will:
- Become familiar with SalesOps channels and categories of workflow request types
- Understand customer provisioning processes and roles
- Shadow and begin to support requests and processes
- Evangelize communication best practices for sales and sales support functions
Within 60 days you will:
- Begin owning provisioning processes between sales/support
- Collaborate with the sales and support functions to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure proper lead management processes, metrics, and policies are being followed
At 90 Days you will:
- Independently manage/complete sales ops requests
- Maintain knowledge repository for first-tier sales support
- Begin to identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, with a focus on scalability and driving growth
