Opportunity Overview
This role will help the overall sales function operate more effectively, provide key reporting and information to sales leadership, and enable the Sales Executives to be more efficient and successful. The domain for this role includes Salesforce administration, sales process optimization, data analysis and reporting.
The ideal candidate will take pride in removing obstacles for Sales Leadership ad Sales Executives, enjoy identifying and solving process and reporting inefficiencies, and thrive on providing accurate and timely sales reporting and measurement of key metrics. The overarching goal is to devise, implement, and execute sales processes that provide a lens into all aspects of what the sales team is doing daily. This position is based in Ann Arbor, MI office and reposts to a member of the Sales Management team, but work from home options and flexibility will be available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Manage functions essential to the overall productivity of the Sales team. These include Salesforce administration and maintenance, planning, reporting, forecasting, performance metrics and database management.
- Seek out improvements in current sales processes to achieve accuracy, timeliness, and comprehensiveness.
- Analyze and produce customized Salesforce reports and dashboards as requested.
- Active monitoring of pipeline development and growth, along with the forecasting process to ensure goals can be met.
- Implementation and administration of automation tools for selling and non-selling tasks.
- Document and maintain a knowledge base on processes, policies, and configurations in Salesforce.
- As a key resource to the sales function, develop ongoing relationships with the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Work with our talented Marketing team to integrate campaign and lead generation flow through to sales.
Qualifications/Skills
- Expertise in Salesforce CRM, with a strong aptitude in the areas of data management, data analysis, report creation, implementing process efficiencies and system integrations. (Experience with additional sales tools a plus.)
- Outstanding attention to detail, technical ability, and familiarity with marketing/lead generation and forecasting processes.
- Strong time management, project management and organization skills.
- Skill at partnering with stakeholders to present and use data to inform decision making.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player with good collaboration and listening skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or other business field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar, sales analytics role
