The Revenue Operations (RevOps) department is a critical function supporting brands from a tactical and analytical perspective. RevOps is responsible for the day to day operations of the brands. It's a more technical role with a strong focus on specific, daily activities that can drive the business, maintain competitiveness within the market and implement new strategies and tactics quickly and effectively. This team will primarily work with dashboards / analytics tools to provide guidance and insights based on data.
- Provide data-based insights to drive brand performance and influence results Assess and report on brand P&L performance on a detailed (product) level and understand how various P&L line items are trending and how to influence them Prepare ad-hoc analyses as needed
- Responsible for running day-to-day operations as outlined in the Revenue Operations cadence.
- Activities include (but are limited to):
- Reviewing product-level margin on a weekly basis to ensure margin % is within target and make appropriate adjustments as needed
- Managing price changes and understanding the relationship between pricing, sales velocity, and conversion
- Monitoring BSR and making adjustments to maintain BSR
- Checking Amazon account health daily and flagging issues to respective parties
- Reviewing control alerts on products and making updates as needed.
- Ensuring marketplace inventory is stocked, listings are active, and buy-box is up
- Arrange promotions / deals (as directed by Brand Managers) and monitor results Assess and monitor brand performance and strategies to identify short term adjustments for brand success and long term adjustments to the core cadence as needed
- Adopt an approach of continuous learning about selling on Amazon (and other ecom marketplaces), test new tools, assess new Seller Central functionality
- Incorporate new learnings, tools and data into new or existing processes to continually improve the cadence
- Have the ability to work independently, but are also highly collaborative and cross-functional
- May have 2 to 3 direct reports that they are responsible for managing (review of the RevOps cadence, oversight, and coaching)
