Director/Manager, Sales Operations The Opportunity
runZero is looking for a highly motivated
Director/Manager of Sales Operations to help support our sales team as we manage hyper-growth and vertical expansion . The Director of Sales Operations is responsible for being a collaborative mentor to their direct reports while creating a scalable process that ensures best practices in lead flow from our website, product, or deal registrations.
You will also create predictable forecasting models based on current and historical data, that guide you to improve operational tasks for our various go-to-market teams to ultimately accelerate our ARR. This role reports directly to our VP of Sales and will present to our board members as well.
What You’ll Do
- Use TAM data to carve out territories, make recommendations on quotas, and create great visibility into important metrics for the sales team and leadership
- Build process for scale and make adjustments as needed to create a solid ongoing program
- Ensure leads and territories are routed correctly, using our HubSpot admin to debug when we see mistakes
- Ensure our HubSpot hygiene is maintained and up to date, and lead process changes when needed to create more efficiency
- Ensure we can pull important KPIs at the board level, as well as internal KPIs that are tracked
- Create strategy for sales leadership to execute on regarding TAM, partnering with Demand Generation & Business Development, as well as interface with Finance to ensure proper revenue recognition
- Write strong documentation so processes are repeatable and referenceable when changes need to be made
Skills You Have
- Proven capabilities in project management, thinking creatively, and developing a teamwork attitude while working cross functionally
- 5+ years of SaaS experience in a cloud software business preferred
- A passion for the art and science of sales with a solid understanding of how to operate in a sales management and support function - start up experience is a requirement
- Previous experience in a quota carrying role is a plus and ability to understand the challenges that the sales team encounters daily is preferred
- An effective listener, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative mentor who instills a learning environment and demonstrates a strong work ethic
Salary range: runZero values transparency in the hiring process. According to our market data, we’re expecting this role to come in at a salary of about $150k - $220k, plus stock options. We know that the talent market is always in flux, so please let us know if you believe we have advertised this role at the wrong salary band.
