Thrilled to be working with an innovative data driven SaaS platform, who sit firmly within the advertising ecosystem and are now looking to hire a CRO.
Their technology is used across 5,000+ brands, 1,000+ agencies, across 130+ markets. Existing clients include the likes of, Meta, Nestle, PepsiCo plus many other Global Fortune 500 Enterprises.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has worked within a very data focused business, ideally in SaaS, and has extensive Enterprise sales success under their belt.
This role is less about personally 'selling' but about building a revenue machine and introducing the right infrastructure to sustain, predictable, reliable growth.
The Opportunity:
As the chief revenue officer (CRO) you will have corporate executive responsible for all revenue generation processes in the company.
In this role, you will be accountable for driving better integration and alignment between all revenue-related functions, including marketing, sales, customer support, pricing and revenue management.
Day to day:
Grow. To a sales leader, growth is narrow: hit quota. To a CRO, growth is broad and holistic: open up new paths to revenue and build the machinery to get there. This is at the core of this role.
Align. You will be required to spend a lot of time getting everyone to row in the same direction, from their peers in the C-suite to teams across the company.
Plan for the future. You will be responsible for projecting confidence and steadiness to the board, who are data-driven and live for predictability.
About You:
• Experience scaling a SaaS business from $5M to tens of million $ - this is crucial for this hire!
• First-hand experience driving a business to engage with Enterprise brands
• Experience managing and overseeing different functions within revenue teams (Sales, CS, Rev Ops).
• Deep familiarity with sales forecasting and financial planning and revenue operations.
• Track record of setting and achieving forecasts
• B2B SaaS experience
• An understanding of the data and insight marketplace
• Knowledge of the use of data with AI and ML
• Familiar with the world of advertising
• Previously held commercial responsibility for an entire business - Sales, CS, Rev Ops etc
• People-management experience
This series B scale-up have recently secured huge VC investment. Today they are scaling an incredibly analytical SaaS tool, that directly benefits brands within the advertising ecosystem.
This role can be based out of London or NY.
The core focus of this position is steering the ship in order to satisfy VC investors and achieve large scale global growth.
