Summary:
The Deal Desk Supervisor reports to the Director of Revenue Operations. This person is responsible for leading a team of Deal Desk personnel in all aspects of their roles. The primary focus of the team is aiding the Global Sales & Customer Success business in quoting, contracting, and customer invoicing for the global business.
What You Will Do:
- Oversees and assists the Deal Desk Analysis with quote/order processing and customer invoicing for the global Sales & Customer Success teams
- Personally handles vendor and customer form fills, answers questions for processing specific deal types,
- Consistently ensures that our Final Internal Review process is completed in a timely manner but with attention to detail that we’re maintaining our commitments from a financial perspective
- Responsible for a strong and efficient month end/quarter end close
- Acts as the primary liaison between Revenue Operations and the Finance and Accounting teams and the team helps support collections efforts in the slower contracting months
- Performs a variety of audit reports within both Salesforce and Netsuite to ensure data fidelity throughout the CRM and ERP
- Supports the nuances of doing business with our Partner Channel, Regional Service Centers, State Purchasing agreements, and other intricacies related to the needs of Educational institutions
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- 2+ years operating in a leadership capacity
- 4+ years operating in a Deal Desk, Order Management, Accounting Operations, Sales Operations, or related role
- Basic understanding of Revenue Recognition rules
- Ability to thrive during a fast paced, transaction driven environment especially during peak season
- Demonstrated ability to partner with GTM Teams and other cross functional departments
- Experience in Direct and Channel Sales model is highly desirable
- Preference for experience with Salesforce & Netsuite dual ecosystem
