We have a great opportunity for a VP - Sales Operations to join our Revenue Ops team. This role will be critical to the Global Field Organisation's operational effectiveness, and it's focus on meeting revenue, operational, and strategic goals. This means the individual will be expected to become a specialist in explaining product sales performance from analysis and discussion and driving the weekly sales forecast with the Leadership team. In addition, taking on a range projects and workstreams depending on business priorities, regularly leading by example to later hand off to our main reporting or systems teams.
The Role:
- Provide analysis to international leadership to help inform business planning and growth opportunities.
- Monitor and analyse the sales cycle to uncover challenges being faced by the sales team and opportunities to increase deal velocity
- Track pipeline contribution by source, understand weaknesses, strengths and collaborate on projects to increase coverage against future quarter goals
- Support the International leadership team by running analyses in preparation of quarterly business reviews
- Working alongside global sales operations and finance, own the quota and operational target setting process for all demand generation & sales functions
- Co-own territory design with sales leadership and maintain the ecosystem mapping in Salesforce
- Develop our target-account program to ensure focus and capitalize on the cross-sell opportunity into existing customers
- Own and develop the operational cadence for the revenue leadership teams and manage all aspects of planning, forecasting & reporting.
- Ensure sales leadership and sales representatives are accurately adopting forecasting tools and methodology
- Drive high standards among the sales organization to keep Salesforce records updated
- Collaborate with marketing operations to remove blockers and increase efficiency in our lead generation and routing process
Criteria:
- Previous experience in a SaaS business with an understanding of the business model and ecosystem
- Comfortable being hands-on and tactical, but equally able to operate at a strategic level
- Ability to handle ambiguity and change in a fast-paced environment
- Highly analytical and data-savvy, able to run sophisticated analyses and summarize/present findings with clarity
- Confident and experienced in driving consensus among a senior leadership team
- An agent for change and continuous iterative improvement, willing to challenge the status quo
- Significant strategy, project management, budget management and business analysis skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead cross-functional project teams
- Deep working knowledge of Salesforce, including report/dashboard creation and administration
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
