Sales Operations Analyst, Commissions
Hybrid: Sheffield, UK
The Who, What, Where and Why
The Commission Analyst will report to the Commission Systems Manager, and will assist with tasks related the management and continuous improvement of the Aptean commission system and processes. This role will support the end-to-end process of plan delivery and monthly global commission calculations. This resource will work closely with Sales Operations for the distribution of compensation plans and will distribute plan documents based on allocated quotas. This resource will also liaise with Finance to provide the necessary reporting for accounting purposes. Lastly, this resource will interface with the Sales team to handle inquiries and potential commission related issues.
Who?
We are looking for someone with:

Experience with CaptivateIQ preferred, or similar commission processing systems

2+ year experience processing sales commissions and compensation plan management
-
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

Prior experience with ad hoc reporting

Prior experience with report automation
-
Prior experience with process improvement
-
Prior experience with process documentation
-
Excellent communication, customer service skills, and operational experience supporting sales teams

Experience triaging compensation inquiries and issues across multiple regions
-
Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently

Must have strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and review and document trends required for commission forecasting

Experience with Salesforce and DocuSign preferred
What?
This person will:
-
Actively contribute to the Commission team’s ownership of the end-to-end process of monthly global commission calculations, including commission plan coding, payout calculation processing and validation, statement distribution and payroll reporting

Lead all aspects of hierarchy setup and management required for global sales teams

Provide necessary reporting for Sales, Sales Ops, and FP&A on quota retirement, commission accruals and forecasting, and be proactive in identifying and implementing improvements to such reports as needed

Research and resolve commission related inquires including but not limited to booking disputes/anomalies, system access, and plan clarifications

Utilize CaptivateIQ and DocuSign to manage the distribution and signature of commission plan documents both annually and throughout the year
