Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly qualified Revenue Operations and Billing Analyst as a key member of the Finance Revenue Operations team at a high-energy, high growth software company. This role requires a person who is detail-oriented, performs at a high level of accuracy and efficiency, is well organized, and demonstrates ownership and initiative to accomplish goals. This position requires an energetic team player who is eager to learn, contribute to the team and has a strong desire to exceed expectations and improve processes through automation. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively, possess very good problem-solving skills and is a process-oriented individual who is also flexible and thrives in a demanding setting. The Revenue Operations and Billing Analyst will also lead/participate in system and process improvements.
This position will report to the Director of Revenue Operations
Responsibilities:

Interpret customer contracts for order entry and associated revenue recognition

Create invoices in NetSuite based on customer sales order information and contractual terms

Review the billing data against customer contract information for accuracy

Maintain and update customer information in all systems (Salesforce.com/internal billing system, NetSuite)

Interface with Sales Operations and multiple internal departments

Triage and respond to customer inquiries, including invoice disputes, statements of account, and payment information

Collaborates with other administrative departments, as necessary, to discuss billing guidelines and processes

Liaise with subsidiary local accountants to ensure timely delivery of invoices and recording of VAT data

Perform reconciliations of customer accounts and understand the historical flow of the customer transactions and invoicing history including any modifications of the contracts

Successfully create billing schedules and billing analysis

Aid the collections team in collecting on past due balances
- Ensure all Salesforce order fields required to be filled out are completely filled out

Assist with commission calculation based on both bookings and billings data
Qualifications:

BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or other related degree

1-3 years of working experience

Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce

Understanding of basic revenue and accounting principles

Solid grasp of reading and understanding contracts and the effect of terms and conditions
- Strong communication skills

Experience with order administration and billing, a plus

Experience with international accounting operations, a plus

A good command of Microsoft Excel.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $85,000 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The range for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect base salary and certain positions may be offered additional variable incentives.
