Mitek's Director, Deal Desk will leverage their extensive deal desk prior experience supporting complex, standard and non-standard deals in SaaS.

Lead the strategic direction and execution of all aspects of deals, with a primary focus on US deals.

Work with Sales to and other internal departments to prioritize and close critical, complex deals with high visibility.

Work with Legal to prioritize deals in the pipeline and timelines.

Review, approve and document all non-standard commercial terms.

Manage and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Partner with key members of the Go-To-Market (GTM) team on best practices deal management, contract structuring, and pricing products, new and review of existing pricing.

Assist EU Deal Desk team in deal structuring, contract reviews, approvals, and deal priority management.

Sales Deal review including profitability, margins, and discounts.

Provide deal leadership on a month-end and quarter-end close deliverables.

Develop, nurture, and reinforce partnerships across our Sales, Legal and Finance teams, serving as subject matter expert on all things related to deal desk and deal lifecycles.

Work closely with Sales Leadership team and act as an advisor and be the orchestration point in navigating deals efficiently through deal closing.

Manage strategic sourcing negotiations and agreements.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration or related field.

Knowledge and skills typically associated with 8+ years of experience in Deal Desk, structuring, negotiating, and pricing in B2B SaaS organizations.

Strong experience of deal structure and negotiation, and revenue recognition for SaaS and on-prem solutions.

Excellent communication skills with C-Level team, both internal and customers.

Successful experience negotiating standard and non-standard SaaS deals of international complexity (ranging between $200k – 2M+).

Deep knowledge of sales cycle and prioritization of competing deal flow.

Experience in Sales with identity, fraud, or risk-focused software solutions preferred.

Market knowledge of IDV space preferred.

Ability to successfully manage professional discussions of conflicting viewpoints professionally and respectfully, all while providing solutions leading to resolution and deals closed.

Ability to articulate Mitek’s positions to customers and manage contractual negotiations/objections in real-time.
