Do you have consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales as well as product manufacturing experience? We are seeking a general manager to lead our sales and production teams to push our growing national coffee brand to the next level. We need a leader with experience in headquarter sales as well as broker management to help us gain total points of distribution while working with operations to ensure production expands to meet the growth demands.
Current management has achieved 12% CAGR over the past 3 years and we need a leader to push us to 15% CAGR over the next 3 years. Our team of 30 employees works across two manufacturing locations and an administrative office. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be well organized with dependable follow through, have demonstrated successes in team leadership, plus an affinity for using technology and data to analyze and hit performance numbers.
The successful candidate will work with the board and company management to set strategies that support the overall company goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Enthusiastic love of coffee
- CPG headquarter sales and sales management experience
- Broker management experience
- Product manufacturing experience
- Contract manufacturing, or copacker, experience a plus
- Self-motivated proactive nature and work ethic
- Advanced computer skills: Word, Outlook, CRM, ERP, Expertise using Excel for data analysis
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills including goal setting, motivating, training, and mentorship
- Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and/or high-pressure environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to navigate nebulous situations
- Experience making data-driven decisions
- 3-5 years as a GM or senior manager
- Degree in business management or MBA, preferred
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- No tobacco use

- Oversee daily business operations

- Evaluate overall, departmental, and individual performance and productivity
- Increase organization’s effectiveness by focusing resources, both human and capital
- Manage sales
- Coordinate efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing and sales policies and practices; and coordinating actions with staff
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Perform complex analysis and studies to prove theories and provide a basis for decision making

Pay: $95,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
