The Role
The Missing Link is looking for an experienced and talented Security Sales Development Representative to join our team.
As a Security Sales Development Representative, you will be a passionate and driven sales professional who enjoys and thrives on generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting and qualifying new clients to add to our UK client base. You will be responsible for creating and managing leads through the sales pipeline whilst regularly tracking progress towards meeting activity metrics and sales goals.
You will be responsible for scheduling highly qualified meetings from inbound and outbound campaigns within target accounts. In order to do so, you will leverage a variety of prospecting tools and outreach techniques. You will also be required to collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to facilitate outreach for new programs, messaging, campaigns, and offerings.
Whilst you will enjoy the teamwork environment, you will also relish the opportunity to work autonomously to achieve results.
This is an amazing opportunity to build and develop the UK division from the ground up, and to work with the Australian branch to advise on growth and sales opportunities and replicate the success we've had in the ANZ region.
Whilst you will not be required to have extensive knowledge and experience within the IT Security industry, or knowledge of a range of consulting and security vendor solution offerings, prior sales experience with a Cyber Security Integrator, MSSP or vendor will be a big plus.

We have strong partnerships with many leading vendors and have strong Managed Services capabilities, as well as our 24x7 Security Operations Centre (SOC), which is run out of Sydney, Australia and London, UK.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of sales prospecting experience through social media, cold callings, and emails in the UK market
- Core sales skills related to initiating conversations, uncovering basic needs, connecting needs to high level Security services and solutions, and driving interest in continued discussion with sales team members.
- Previous experience with Security Integrators and MSSP companies selling Penetration Testing, Architecture, GRC, and SOC services and a variety of security vendor products is plus.
- Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A desire to learn and grow in the security sales field
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
