The mission of a Sales Operations team is to ensure the Sales Agents, Sales Management, and Business teams all have what they need to efficiently complete insurance applications and other operational needs within our call centers. These tasks are widely varied from solving technical issues, to assisting with completing their annual Insurance Certifications, to updating agents’ profile to make sure they get the right calls for their skill level. This role is well suited for someone who likes a fast-paced environment, varied (but sometimes repetitive) tasks, who is driven by a desire to help others, enjoys investigating issues to find solutions, creative thinkers, and those who can stay cool, calm, and collected under pressure.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing a constant stream of troubleshooting tickets
- Researching, evaluating, and resolving technical issues
- Collaborating closely with agents to ensure they have what they need to complete their daily tasks
- Meeting 1:1 with agent(s) to provide or gather clarification in order to provide assistance
- Ability to guide agents, and sales management, through a complicated annual certification process
- Ability to review data to identify trends and issues
- Collaborate with agents, sales management, and business teams to understand and complete end-to-end solutions for initiatives
- Update agents’ profile and settings to match system and program requirements
- If on-site position, collaborating with other teams to ensure a successful, safe, and fun call center environment.
What you need to be successful in the role:
- Minimum of 2 years sales center experience
- Understanding of call center metrics
- Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing business insights and recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently to complete detailed tasks
- Able to navigate multiple interfaces to manage day to day tasks
- Well organized and high attention to detail
- Note taking
- Asks lots of questions
- A profound sense of humor
