Job Description
The Position:
As an Account & Sales Operations Manager, you will be joining an energetic environment as part of the GE Lighting Canada Sales team. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals within the field of sales and operations. In this role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of retail accounts and distribution. Additionally, you will gain exposure supporting the GE Lighting Canada’s new business development opportunities and assisting with operational activities for the business.
Nature of Work:
In this role, your account management responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Attainment of quarterly and annual revenue, net sales billed and contribution margin goals.

Tactical implementation of promotional and operational strategies for your portfolio of retail accounts and distribution.

Assist in development of annual and multi-year sales growth and promotional plans.

Develop strategic and operating plans for your portfolio of retail accounts and distribution.

Own merchant relationships with retail accounts and distribution.

Ownership of account claims, invoice processing and PO creation. Manage & optimize trade spend.

Support account point-of-sale analysis, reporting and item forecasting.

Completion of customer forms and documentation.

Support new business development opportunities.
Your sales operations responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Invoice processing and PO creation.
-
Support customer point-of-sale analysis and reporting where required.

Completion of customer forms and documentation for all Canadian accounts.

Customer new item creation, online content maintenance for all Canadian accounts.

Ad hoc market intelligence collection and reporting.
Qualifications
Skills:

Outstanding work ethic, high energy, with strong passion to contribute to team success.

Results driven, self-motivated, works well with minimal supervision, excellent relationship builder.

Strong skills with MS Office Applications, especially MS Excel.

Consultative sales style, utilizing outcome-based selling.

Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills.

3-5 years’ experience in CPG and Consumer Electronics. Experience in eComm is beneficial.
Education:

University bachelor’s degree in in Business, Commerce, or equivalent related discipline.
