Chief Revenue Officer: PlanITROI is seeking an ambitious Chief Revenue Officer with experience in the IT Hardware/Services industry. The ideal candidate must have a proven background in profitably growing organizations from $10MM to $25MM+ in EBITDA through sales, services and acquisitions within three years. As we focus on leading, building and developing all sales channels, we are in search of a successful servant leader who has spent their career selling to and through large enterprise, K12, and SMB directly and indirectly through computing Value Added Resellers. The Chief Revenue Officer will be a key member of our Senior Leadership Team. This role is remote on Eastern Time only.
Mission: Lead and grow PlanITROI from $10M to $25M+ in EBITDA while impacting 5,000,000 digitally underserved people people by 2026.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build a culture of team first with “A” Players through continuous: recruiting, hiring, training, leading and coaching
Achieve YoY profitable growth both organically and through acquisitions to $25M+ in EBITDA
Set the strategic direction and execution plan for all activities to acquire new clients for their retired computing assets to be serviced, sold, donated or recycled.
Grow key channels: Large enterprise, K12, SMB both direct and through partners that service and sell computing hardware. (CDW, SHI, Insight, Connection etc.)
Build a successful PlanITROI Playbook: Company overview, Sales Team structure, messaging, positioning, product overview, differentiators, buyer personas, case studies, sales methodology, sales plays, lead sources, sales process and definitions, sales collateral, competitor battle-cards, pitch decks, objection handling, tools and software, dashboard and metrics.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Business or alike
Member of a Senior Leadership Team at the corporate level for at least 5 years as a CRO or equivalent
Proven success within ITAD, IT Hardware and/or an IT Hardware professional services organization
Strategic and critical thinker who is highly organized and an expert at building and managing sales teams and business development professionals
Superior leadership skills to prioritize different tasks throughout the year to ensure PlanITROI reaches its goals
Proven success increasing sales and marketing efficiencies with increased profitability
Expert at building sales processes to decrease sales cycles on multimillion-dollar contracts
Experience in managing P&L and budget
Expert at building a Sales Playbook, based on a previously successful methodology you have implemented in your career
Expert in building a pipeline of business through major VAR’s: CDW, SHI, Insight, Connection etc.
Expert understanding of B2B marketing & communications
Expert in all modern lead generation tools, tactics and objection handling
Effective ability to collaborate with marketing on digital initiatives focusing on branding, storytelling and lead generation leading to sales
Expert in Salesforce
Established relationships within IT Hardware/Services industry
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to work with various departments across the organization
