Together we’ve designed, built, and brought to market a SaaS product to help Digital Agencies & Technology Consulting companies grow profitably. Our product provides insight and predictive forecasting for services firms while providing a platform for strategic resource planning & project accounting that is disrupting the professional services automation industry.
As the VP of sales, you will develop our enterprise sales team and work with senior leadership to further define and execute our go-to-market strategy. We seek an individual with a proven track record of successfully scaling a sales organization inside an enterprise SaaS startup. The ideal candidate will be able to evolve with the company rapidly and have the expertise to know what is coming next as our business grows from $4M to $15M.

While you will ultimately be responsible for everything related to sales, some key responsibilities are detailed below.
- Relentlessly hire, develop, and retain a world-class SaaS sales organization with an eye on inspiring, coaching, and mentoring.
- Develop and manage the annual and quarterly new customer sales plans and customer success sales plans, including accurate forecasting and exceeding quarterly and annual goals.
- Collaborate with our Director, Customer Success, to implement the Customer Success sales function, driving upsell and cross-sell bookings and the sales elements of customer migration, reducing churn and achieving customer revenue retention goals.
- Direct the business and market analysis for all opportunities and contribute to the cross-functional development of the product, pricing, and service strategies to ensure market penetration, market growth, and new customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with our VP of Marketing to drive demand generation through go-to-market strategy and marketing plans, including communication, channel marketing, sales tools, trade shows, brand awareness, advertising, and other demand generation and marketing programs.
- Evaluate all strategic factors which could affect the sales objectives, such as significant changes in the competitive environment, and interact with the appropriate functions within the company to ensure that this knowledge is used effectively.

- A minimum of seven years of experience in sales, with at least three years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of B2B SaaS sales models; experience designing and implementing sales models to decrease sales cycle time and increase win percentages and experience optimizing marketing strategy and leading demand generation marketing team
- Experience working with or for digital consultancies, digital agencies, or custom software development organizations
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales enablement tools such as HubSpot & Gong
- Track record of developing and implementing plans to achieve corporate growth goals, annual bookings, sales, and revenue growth, and achieve profit targets
- Ability to develop and communicate growth strategies clearly to multiple teams with diverse areas of expertise and experience
- Strong understanding of the complexity and nuances of different market segments (mid-market, enterprise, etc.) and the ability to develop a customer success lifecycle that is strategically tailored to the needs of each segment
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, technology, customer care, and finance to drive company growth and success
- Provide leadership experience with strong negotiation and influencing skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work cohesively with other executives

Location Expectation
Like most businesses today, the Parallax team is learning to thrive in a flexible working environment. We're running a hybrid model, but our senior leadership team works full-time in the office. With limited exceptions, VP and C-Level leaders are expected in our Minneapolis office five days a week.
