Position Overview:
A Portfolio Company of Arrowroot Capital is looking to hire a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). The Chief Revenue Officer will lead the entire revenue generation process with an emphasis on designing and optimizing channel management solutions. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the development of current and new revenue models. The CRO will be a senior member of the leadership team with accountability for achieving sales goals across multiple lines of business.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Sales functions and teams, including direct Sales, Channel Sales, and Customer Success.
- Define and maintain the revenue strategy geared towards increasing Sales and customer retention; architect and integrate the revenue system and design/launch revenue programs.
- Design and optimize the global channel strategy. Recruit and enable new mid-tier Channel Partners.
- Build and implement growth/goal and revenue monitoring strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives of key clients.
- Grow and lead sales and marketing teams, including the creation of sales strategies and benchmarks for analyzing performance.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Sales experience in SaaS environments, with 2+ years of Executive-level experience in delivering rapid revenue growth in a SaaS environment; ideal candidates will have experience leading Direct Sales, Channel Sales, and Customer Success functions.
- Demonstrable experience designing and/or identifying repeatable and scalable operations, including building out Chanel programs and designing competitive commission plans.
- Solid history of hitting mid-market Sales targets complimented by some experience closing Enterprise-level deals.
- Effective utilization of Sales tools to develop insights and identify opportunities for process efficiencies.
- Strong background in funnel optimization.
- Must be an enthusiastic leader; you inspire others to be the best versions of themselves and are able represent the company in key industry events.
- Exceptional analytical ability and operational experience across multiple departments within an organization: Revenue, Sales, Customer Success, Channel/Partnerships, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive understanding of SaaS-based cross-channel marketing.
